MycoMix®Immun K – for natural support of the immune system
CordyVit®K PRO – for energy and endurance
I started using the Mycomix mixture of medicinal mushrooms as a dietary supplement due to improving the consequences of Lyme disease and meningitis. After 7 days of use, 2–3 times daily, 2 teaspoons of mushrooms, I noticed the following changes. Physical exertion (I am an endurance athlete) is easier for me at higher intensity. I have the feeling that I am less tired and that I sleep more and better at night. The immune system, which was weakened after the illness and would quickly drop, is more constant. Before, it happened to me that after a day of sport, the following day I would experience a flu-like condition. Blaž Č., 31 years old, PE teacher – recreational athlete
My name is Aleksandra Pivec and I am 37 years old. About fifteen years ago, I started experiencing problems and symptoms related to pollen allergy during the spring, which were quite bothersome. My condition gradually worsened from year to year, and the symptoms became increasingly severe. During the spring and early autumn, I suffered from a runny nose, irritated eyes, and a dry cough. About five years ago, while working as a researcher in a laboratory, I first came across information about medicinal mushrooms originating from China. Around that time, my father was diagnosed with cancer. I ordered the mushrooms from China, and we added them to my father’s diet in order to reduce the negative side effects of chemotherapy treatment. It soon became clear that mushrooms are a good stimulator of the immune system, as my father did not experience any side effects from this aggressive treatment and tolerated it very well. I also started consuming the mushrooms myself. About three years ago, when mushrooms became available on the Slovenian market, I started using locally produced products, which, I must honestly say, I trust much more than those imported from China. Since then, my allergy-related problems have disappeared or have become much, much milder. For the past three years, I have not needed the treatment prescribed by my personal physician during the spring and autumn, which had previously helped relieve the severe symptoms associated with my allergies. During this period, I have suffered much less from common seasonal viral infections and colds. Even though I have two young children who constantly bring home various viruses from kindergarten and school, I recover from every minor illness very quickly. I feel that my immune system is truly strong and responds quickly to every form of illness. As both my husband and I are vegetarians, we also regard adding mushrooms to our diet as an effective and beneficial food supplement. Since we are both physically active, we also find them very beneficial for recovery after sports activities. In short, by adding mushrooms to my diet, I have greatly improved my health after allergies and increased my body’s immune responsiveness. Because of my positive experience and trust, I also recommend adding mushrooms to the diet to people around me. Dr. Aleksandra Pivec, Ptuj
I am 33 years old and have been an active athlete my entire life. In recent years, I have mainly been involved in marathon and ultramarathon running. Two years ago, during extreme physical exertion, I started experiencing a drop in immunity, which manifested as excessive fatigue, nausea, and fever. During that period, I also learned about Chinese medicinal mushrooms (Reishi, Cordyceps, etc.), and decided to try them.
I have now been taking them regularly for the third year and I truly feel their positive effect. After demanding races and training sessions, recovery is much easier and faster. I no longer have the issues I had in previous years, and I practically do not experience colds or seasonal illnesses; if they do occur, they are mild and pass quickly. My pollen allergy, which developed three years ago, has also improved.
In any case, this is a product whose value you only truly recognize over time, when you notice that you are more resilient than the people around you who do not use it. This often leads you to share your experience with others, and in that lies its value as well, as you can help others.

In principle, medicinal mushroom products are not sensitive to sunlight. It is more important to keep them in a cool, dry place. A dark bottle definitely helps to preserve the quality of the products.
It is recommended to consume medicinal mushroom preparations for about three weeks twice a year. Longer periods of use are recommended for more prolonged problems, but with short breaks of a few days, which should be prolonged as the problem begins to subside. The purpose of medicinal mushroom preparations is not to be taken continuously but only as a kind of support.
In principle, there are no known contraindications in such cases. In any case, it is not advisable to take several food supplements at the same time, as this puts too much strain on the organism and may cause nausea. We suggest that you always take a break of at least two hours between taking two food supplements. We advise against taking vitamin C in addition to medicinal mushroom products.
Allergic reactions to mushroom-based preparations are rare. With long-term use of higher doses, more sensitive individuals may occasionally experience a mild skin reaction, such as itching, which usually resolves upon discontinuation of use or a reduction in dosage.
Products in powdered form made from medicinal mushrooms differ from extracts primarily in their method of preparation and consequently in their composition. Each form has its own advantages.
At MycoMedica d.o.o., mushroom powder is obtained using low-temperature drying in order to preserve as broad a spectrum of bioactive compounds as possible, including those that are more heat-sensitive or insoluble, which could otherwise be lost or altered during the extraction process.
The powdered products therefore contain a highly comprehensively preserved mushroom biomass. In general, the body needs to invest more energy in the breakdown and absorption of powders; however, this form retains a broader spectrum of naturally occurring constituents.
Extracts are obtained from fresh mushroom material, as it contains protein and enzyme components that can be efficiently extracted using a suitably optimised process.
The process includes cold and hot water extraction as well as ethanol extraction across a wide concentration range. Through percolation – a process in which the solvent passes in a controlled and gradual manner through the mushroom material – we ensure an optimal extraction of a broad spectrum of naturally occurring water- and alcohol-soluble compounds from the biomass.
Through water extraction, water-soluble compounds are extracted from the mushroom cells, while ethanol extraction yields alcohol-soluble compounds. The extract is then concentrated at low temperatures and under reduced pressure, which reduces the risk of changes in thermolabile components.
Our innovative extraction process ensures a high-quality extract with a well-balanced profile of active compounds.
