Daisy is around 13 years old, and I have been her owner for the past five years.

Since the age of thirteen, I have experienced symptoms of seasonal allergies in the early spring days, presumably to birch and hazel pollen. In my youth, I used medications for allergy symptoms (mainly loratadine and levocetirizine – I deliberately do not use brand names), which successfully alleviated the allergy symptoms. At the age of twenty-six, however, instead of tablets, I tried a tincture made from the mushroom Ganoderma lucidum and, to my surprise, found that the allergy symptoms were significantly reduced. Considering that tablets merely prevent allergy symptoms (they block the consequences of increased histamine release) and that mushrooms are presumed to modulate the entire immune system, it seems to me that the solution with the use of the tincture is more sensible and systemic.

Dietary supplements made from medicinal mushrooms are increasingly being used in animal nutrition as a complement to a balanced and varied diet.
Numerous modern scientific studies and clinical trials investigate the activity of bioactive compounds from medicinal mushrooms, their characteristics, and their influence on physiological balance in the organism.
When used in animals, it is most important to follow the recommended dosages of each product and take into account the animal’s overall health status.
In principle, there are no known contraindications in such cases. In any case, it is not advisable to take several food supplements at the same time, as this puts too much strain on the organism and may cause nausea. We suggest that you always take a break of at least two hours between taking two food supplements. We advise against taking vitamin C in addition to medicinal mushroom products.
