How Cordyceps drops are made –

Double Extraction Method

CordyVit® drops are prepared using a double extraction method from fresh fungi. By combinig aqueous and

ethanol extraction, a wide range of beneficial bio-agents is extracted from the fungus.

After extraction, the alcohol is completely removed from the product and organic glycerin is added to the extract

to improve its bioavailability.

The drops are alcohol-free. Suitable for vegans and those sensitive to alcohol.

Frequently asked questions

Do your medicinal mushroom products need to be stored in a dark place? Your sales items are in dark bottles – is this necessary to maintain quality?

In principle, medicinal mushroom products are not sensitive to sunlight. It is more important to keep them in a cool, dry place. A dark bottle definitely helps to preserve the quality of the products.

Can I consume medicinal mushroom preparations all the time?

It is recommended to consume medicinal mushroom preparations for about three weeks twice a year. Longer periods of use are recommended for more prolonged problems, but with short breaks of a few days, which should be prolonged as the problem begins to subside. The purpose of medicinal mushroom preparations is not to be taken continuously but only as a kind of support.

Can the concomitant use of medicinal mushrooms and other food supplements lead to contraindications?

In principle, there are no known contraindications in such cases. In any case, it is not advisable to take several food supplements at the same time, as this puts too much strain on the organism and may cause nausea. We suggest that you always take a break of at least two hours between taking two food supplements. We advise against taking vitamin C in addition to medicinal mushroom products.

Can mushroom preparations really cause allergies?

Such cases are extremely rare. However, with prolonged use of high doses, slight itching may occur, which may disappear when the dose is stopped or reduced.

Are Cordyceps capsules suitable for children (13 years, 30-35 kg) and if so, how many can be taken?

In principle, Cordyceps is also suitable for children over 3 years of age, that is, if they really need it. We recommend that it is only used for as long as it is really needed. The dosage can be calculated according to body weight, taking into account that an adult weighs approx. 60-70kg, and the recommended dosage of Cordyceps extract is 3 x 2 capsules per day.

Your Cordyvit product is labelled as a vegetarian product. I wonder if this means that no animals were ‘used’ in the production process of this fungus and died in the process? Is the product entirely non-animal in origin and therefore also suitable for vegans?

Our Cordyceps is 100% vegetarian or vegan. No animals are used or killed in the production process.

How long can I consume Cordyceps mushrooms continuously? They are very useful, but information on consumption varies widely.

We recommend three-week-old cows, that is, if there are no long-term problems that require prolonged consumption. In principle, however, our customers and the literature do not report any serious undesirable side effects from Cordyceps. Some report that after a prolonged period of consumption, the effect of Cordyceps on the body is reduced, so shorter periods of use are recommended.
