Combined with its many traditionally attributed health benefits, it commands astonishing prices\u2014up to \u20ac50,000 per kilogram.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ancient texts referred to <em>Cordyceps<\/em> as the <strong>\u201cGold of the Himalayas,\u201d<\/strong> as this precious fungus thrives only in the remote areas of the Tibetan plateau, once accessible only to emperors and nobility.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Eastern medicine, it is also known as the <strong>\u201cMushroom of Vitality,<\/strong>\u201d with its effects traditionally associated with endurance, vitality, and the regulation of life energy.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Traditional Use<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\">In Tibet and China, <em>Cordyceps<\/em> was highly valued for supporting the enhancement of life \u201cqi\u201d energy and promoting faster recovery, particularly in older adults and during periods of intense physical exertion.
